(10-1-23) Yesterday at the University of Northwestern Ohio O-G won the 2023 Western Buckeye League (WBL) girls tennis tournament edging out Shawnee 42-40. With the win the Titans share the overall. championship title with the Indians.

For O-G it was their 1st WBL title since 1997 and 8th overall – Titles – 2023, 1997, 93, 92, 90, 89, 88, 87. For Shawnee is was WBL title #23 and 3rd in a row for the Indians. Titles – 2023, 22, 21, 19, 18, 17, 09, 08, 05, 04, 03, 1999, 98, 97, 96, 95, 94, 93, 86, 85, 84, 83, 82

The Indians (1st singles, 2nd singles and 1st doubles) picked up three tournament titles, while O-G won one (2nd doubles).
