Ohio High School Athletic Association spokesperson Tim Stried tells WFMJ 21 Sports:
“there have been some discussions about expanding the number of divisions in several sports, but there haven’t been any decisions.”
Media sources are hearing from their sources it is more then just a rumor.

MaxPreps recently partnered with the OHSAA on seeding state basketball tournaments. They seem to have been involved in the process when you see their response in the above tweet. The added divisions would be a plus in bringing on new divisions. for added use of their site
When, who, why and where was the OHSAA discussing this and with who was involved? Unknown as of now no details are currently on the non-profit OHSAA web site available to the public.
When will we know the details? Good Question!
