Jacob Circle

(11-1-23) Parkway Football Coach Jacob Circle (27) was cited for OVI early Tuesday evening by Mercer County Sheriff’s Deputies. Circle was pulled over around 7 pm near US 127 and US 33. Circle was cited for OVI and for a breath test of .17 or higher (legal limit for DUI in Ohio is 0.08).

Test results showing a BAC of 0.17% or higher will increase the penalties you face. A typical first-time OVI offense can lead to up to three days in jail and fines of up to $1,075. A judge may assess a fine closer to the upper limit of that range for a high-BAC OVI offense. The mandatory jail time doubles to six days.

Circle is due to appear in Celina Municipal Court on Friday at 9am for his arraignment.

Circle just completed his first season as the Panthers’ head coach. Parkway went 2-9 on the season and lost a D VI 1st round playoff on Friday night to Paint Valley 37-23.
