
(3-1-23) The Parkway football will have a new head football coach in the fall, Jake Circle. Circle who is one of the youngest head coaches in the state at just 26 was this past season the defensive coordinator at Minster.
Circle was approved the Parkway Board of Education in tonight’s monthly meeting.
He has been coaching since 2014 after graduating from Urbana and coached there for one season. He then followed his Head Coach Nick Marino from Urbana when he became the Anna head job and coached there for three years, including two years as the defensive coordinator. He has been at Minster the past five seasons, the first two seasons he was the special teams coach, for two seasons he was the co-Defensive coordinator and this past season he was the defensive coordinator..This will be Circle’s first head coaching coaching position.
Circle replaces Joel Henkle who stepped down in December after four seasons as the Panther Head Coach.
Last season the Panthers went 2-8 overall and 1-7 in the MAC. Last season Minster beat Parkway 48-20.
