Celina Coach Josh Goff comments on the tournament-

We started the day strong with an 849 game but struggled with accuracy during games 2 and 3, but we able to qualify 6th for the championship round. We moved past Washington Court House in the round of 16, Boardman in the round of 8, and Wapakoneta in the round of 4 to face Nordonia in the finals. In the finals we were up 24 pins going into the third and final baker game, but unfortunately dropped that game by 29 pins to finish 5 pins behind.

Overall a great day. All 8 bowlers contributed both on the lanes and with great energy and team support. Some of the initial nerves from the opening round seems to have been gone after the break and we looked a top level team. This group should continue to grow and improve as the season progresses, and we have the ability to accomplish a lot.
