(12-2-23) Marion Local put together a complete game to pick up their 3rd consecutive OHSAA football state title dominating Dalton (13-2) 38-0 in the D VII final. The Flyers led at halftime 31-0 and never looked back. The game ended with a running clock.
In the win today they scored on a punt return, an interception return, rushing TD, passing TD and field goal…talk about filling up the scoresheet.
Marion Local (16-0) ends the 2023 season as the USA’s consecutive game winning streak leader with 48 straight.
