(2-23-24) The Celina Boys Varsity Bowlers finished 3rd at Sectionals yesterday and advances to next week’s District.

High Boys Games was Quin Posada  with a 241 and 210, Ethan Bruce with a 223 and a 208, Alaric Doner with a 208. High Series was Quin Posada 614.

The team thru 3 games had Celina was sitting 5th and only the Top 5 teams advance to Districts. Then the 6 Baker Games started, and these boys came out swinging. Thru 6 Bakers they averaged 191 it was truly a team effort.

A key moment for the Bulldogs…was when Steven Stacy in the bakers coming off the bench to shoot a spare attempt and coming in clutch, converting the spare was huge for momentum.

The day was a solid showing for the Bulldogs. We still haven’t even showed our full potential. We have another week to keep working and getting better to show what we can really do! I love these boys and I’m very proud of them!

This Cinderella story continues, as Celina now heads to Port Clinton to Districts, along with WBL rivals St. Marys and Wapakoneta  on March 1st.
