Coldwater’s Zahn Breaks State Record In 200m…Wins D III State Long Jump Title

(5-30-24) Coldwater’s Izzy Zahn (Jr) put on a show today in the OHSAA D III State Track and Field Championships at Dayton’s Welcome Stadium.

Zahn set a State record in the 200m prelims with a time of 24.06. She will compete in the finals tomorrow night at 7:55pm.

D III 200m Prelims

Ft. Recovery’s Anna Roessner had the 4th faster time in the prelims at 24.60 and will also run in the finals.

Zahn also qualified in the 100m prelims with a time of 12.09, the final will be at 6:40pm tomorrow., Roessner also will run in the final after posting a time of 12.50.

To top off the day Zahn won the D III State Long Jump State Title. Her winning jump of 18′ 7.75′ came on her 5th attempt.
