(10-14-24) As we enter week 9 of the Ohio High School football season we start to see the possible match-ups in every region in every class.

There are plenty of examples we could share…but the following is one that makes you wonder if the regions are set-up properly.

D VI Region 24 is one that has some issues with distances—

Coldwater is near the Indiana border in Northwest Ohio, while Chesapeake is located near the West Virginia border in Southeast Ohio.

Throw in some schools in Cincinnati and located near the Kentucky border.

Lima Perry has to be scratching their heads on how they ended up in this Region…when three next-door neighbor schools surround them…three of their conference rivals from the Northwest Conference…Spencerville, Allen East and Bluffton. So how in the world did they decide to put Perry where they did. Rock, paper, scissors????

This is just one of the examples, the more classes you have the more issues you face in placing schools in a proper region.
