(1-26-25) Yesterday the Celina Swim Teams competed in the 2025 WBL Swim Championships.

The boys finished in 6th place and the girls were 8th.

WBL titles went to Shawnee in the boys meet and O-G the girls.

Celina’s Jackson Newcomb broke two WBL Championship Meet Records in the 100 Freestyle (47.48) and the 100 Breaststroke (59.80).

COMPLETE MEET RESULTS

In the 100 Freestyle Jackson Newcomb broke both the meet record and his own team record with a 47.48.

Aaron Doseck made the podium for the 100 Freestyle finishing in 6th place.

Newcomb broke another WBL meet record in the breaststroke.

Other Bulldog placers…

In the breaststroke Campbelle Gass finished in 5th place, Aaron Doseck was 7th and Alex Willis in 8th.

The girls 200 Medley Relay placed 6th in the league with the boys 200 Medley doing the same.

On Thursday Haley Kizer, in her first year divingby placed 3rd in the league with 364.55 points.
