West Virginia Boys Basketball Game Ends Early…After Brawl Breaks Out

(2-8-25) It seems that fighting has take oven many basketball games across the US, this past week it was in West Virginia.

• Alabama Basket’brawl’ Breaks Out With Game Ending Fights

This past Tuesday night, a West Virginia high school boys basketball game was called with just 15 seconds remaining as a fight broke out between the two teams.

With Mount View leading Man 47-43, a foul was called that led to a Mount View player shoving a Man player. The two were somewhat separated, but looked to still be speaking to each other as players and referees attempted to diffuse the situation.

That is when it all started to get out of control…

The game did not resume and Mount View won 47-43.

Last night Mount View picked up a 50-49 win over River View in the Golden Knights first game since the incident on Tuesday. Man was scheduled to play Tolsia last night, but no score reported on MaxPreps.
