(2-9-25) The Celina Board of Education and Administration have asked the Ohio School Boards Association (OSBA) to assist in the facilitation of an online survey to better understand the thoughts and opinions of those who live in our school district. At present, a key decision involves the Field House.
While the current building project is underway through 2027, the Field House will remain as a needed component of the district’s facilities. However, the project architects and code compliance professionals estimate the minimum investment necessary to keep th Field House safe and compliant after the Ed Complex is demolished (including a new HVAC system) is $1.2-1.7M.

The intent of this survey is for Celina’s community to inform important and hard decisions the Board and Administration need to make regarding not only maintaining the Field House, but also renovations beyond the next few years, including whether efforts should begin now to secure funding for a new athletic complex to serve our athletic teams for this generation and future generations of Celina Bulldogs.
Please complete the online survey that opens Monday, February 10, and closes Friday, February 21. Your responses are anonymous and will go directly to OSBA.
If you do not have access to a computer or having trouble with the link from your phone, you can take the survey on the public access computers during regular business hours at our Mercer County District Library.
