Coldwater Boys, Ft. Recovery Girls Pick Up 2025 MAC Bowling Titles

(2-9-25) The Midwest Athletic Conference (MAC) crowned two Mercer County champions this week…Coldwater Boys and Coldwater Girls (co-champs with Versailles). Both tournaments were held at the Community Lanes in Minster.

The Cavaliers would highlight the tournament when Austin Burden rolled three consecutive strikes (vs. Versailles in the 1st round) in the 10th frame for a 300 Baker game. It is the fourth time in Coldwater history for that to happen.

Ft. Recovery Girls would lose in the final tournament Bakers 3-1, but by winning the regular season 6-0 and Versailles finishing 2nd that would give the Indians and Tigers MAC Co-Championships.
