(5-3-25) Last night at the very competitive Wayne Invitational…Coldwater’s Isabella ‘Izzy’ Zahn put her name in the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) record book.
She broke the D III State Record for the 400 meter with a time of 54.34, breaking the state record of Gates Mills Hawken’s Brook Turner, who ran the 400m in a time of 55.23 in 2004.
Her time was a personal best and a school record time. The time was an Invitational meet record beating the time of 55.38 held by Wayne Trace’s Sydnee Sinn in 2023.
