(10-23-25) Social media lit up today on possible OHSAA ruling on Ironton football issues. The OHSAA plans on making a formal comment on the issue sometime tomorrow.

The Tigers are scheduled to play Portsmouth tomorrow night…that could change depending on the severity of the ruling.

Ironton, the defending D V State Champions, are presently 8-1 on the season with their only loss coming to Wheelersburg on September 26 th 24-15.

From OHSAA director of communications, regarding the Ironton football program: “we don't have anything to announce tonight, but I can confirm we have been working through some issues with the football program. We plan to make an announcement tomorrow.”
