(12-7-25) The IBCA boys and girls basketball polls were released today with no changes at the top…Fishers continues as the #1 ranked boys team and Lawrence Central #1 in the girls rankings.
Lawrence Central (7-0) had 20 1st place votes, #2 Norwell (8-1) had one 1st place vote and the other 1st place vote went to Warsaw (8-1).

Undefeated teams in the Top 20…#5 Center grove (8-0) and #8 Bloomington South (7-0)
Homestead girls basketball crushes rival Carroll, 77-29
Four ranked teams have 3 losses….#12 Franklin Central (5-3), #14 Brownsburg (4-3), #15 Westfield (7-3) and #17 Northridge (6-3).
Two teams with losses also received votes Columbus North (7-0) and Michigan City Marquette (6-0).
Below are results of the IBCA girls’ basketball poll for Week 5 of the 2025-26 season (Dec. 7, 2025).
The IBCA poll is a “non-class” poll, where teams are voted to a Top 20 regardless of school classification.
There are 22 panelists who vote for the poll — one voter each from the 16 regionals and six at-large voters (two each from IHSAA Districts 1, 2 and 3), including committee chairman Doug Springer of Northridge as a District 1 at-large voter.
This poll is released on Sundays throughout the 2025-26 Indiana high school girls’ basketball season. The final poll for the season will be on Feb. 1, 2026, the Sunday following the completion of regular-season games.
IHSAA sectional games are scheduled Feb. 3-7, 2026.

In the boys rankings Fishers (4-0) remains in the top spot with 20 1st place vote, #2 Crown Point (1-0) and #3 Pike (3-1) both have one 1st place vote. Filling-up the Top 5 is #4 Lawrence North (2-0) and #5 Indianapolis Cathedral (3-0).
