(1-3-26) It was an improbable comeback that came down to the final match of the 2026 Fremont Ross ‘AL VOGENTHALLER’ Invitational. The winner of that match would give their team the championship and today sophomore Cash Patrick stayed unbeaten and earned the most valuable wrestler when he overcame a 3-0 deficit to pin his opponent from Fremont Ross.
Cash’s win came after teammate Isaac Posada captured the 215 pound championship to set up the winner takes all final. Isaac’s win came after Brenner Hinkle took 5th with a technical fall victory which gave the Bulldogs another 3.5 team points and just after senior Wes Greber defeated his Toledo Central Catholic opponent via pin to earn us 20 more points.
