(3-17-26) Lilly Williams, a 6-foot-5 center from Howell High School, was named the 2026 Michigan Miss Basketball on March 16, 2026. A Michigan State signee, she is the first player from Howell to ever win the award.
Williams was home-schooled before attending public school for the first time this year at Howell.

Lilly Williams continues to set the standard for excellence! As a returning Maravich Award winner, Lilly was honored with the prestigious 2024-25 Sullivan Award, an accolade reserved for returning National Player of the Year Winners. Her phenomenal leadership was instrumental in guiding Michigan’s HEA Firebirds to back-to-back Undisputed HomeSchool Basketball National Championships.
Williams was selected as a 2026 McDonald’s All-American (the only player from Michigan in 2026) and has been ranked as high as No. 15 nationally by ESPN.

She averaged 17.8 points, 11.9 rebounds, and 5.7 blocks per game, including a new Howell records for most blocks in a season (126) and blocks per game.
She led the Highlanders to a 23–2 record and a 19-game winning streak.
