(3-21-26) Today at UD Arena Delphos St. John’s claimed their fourth state title in program history and their first fist since 2002.The Blue Jays beat the Wildcats 56-47.



It was the end of an era as Cam Elwer ended his career by scoring half of the Blue Jays points (28 points) in the win.

Kalida, branded by some as the ‘Cinderella‘ team, had opportunities in the 4th quarter and kept the Blue Jay close. The Wildcats outscored the Blue Jays in the 2nd half 22-20 and 13-9 in the final quarter.

St. John’s led at the end of the 3rd quarter 47-34, the Wildcats would cut it down to 7 points but that is as close as they could get.

The Wildcats were led by Owen Grime with 18 points.
