(4-1-26) Recently SSN sent an email to ACAC member school officials asking for information. SSN was hoping to find out why the ACAC had informed Southern Wells recently that they would not allow the Raiders to remain in the membership and also be members of the Mid-Eastern Conference (MEC). Southern Wells was hoping to provide another option for their student-athletes that would give them an opportunity on an equal basis, but keep their ACAC ties in place.

Yesterday (two weeks later) we sent another email to tell them of our disappointment that after two weeks that not one school administrator had replied. It seems that in the past they have not replied to Southern Wells officials when they asked for details on why they are against the move.

No formal explanation from conference members has been made public, according to our sources, and why the ACAC put the whammy on Southern Wells from also joining the MEC and being allowed to remain in the ACAC with dual membership.

We asked for a copy of the ACAC Constitution and Bylaws to see why there was a problem with the Raiders possible dual membership.Does the ACAC take minutes during a conference meeting? The ACAC seems to have a President in place, but unlike Ohio conferences they do not have a commissioner who oversees the administrative issues. The conference is not active on social media.

The most disappointing part about this situation…all of the ACAC schools are public schools refusing to reply to a media source request.

NOTE: Following documents were sent to SSN after our 2nd request from a source-

No indication of the meeting date .that said all six schools reached an unanimous agreement for your dual conference proposal. No indication if Southern Wells officials were at this meeting or if they were aware that it was even being held.

The above letter sent to Southern Wells was not dated when it was written,
