(6-7-26) 28 schools in 7 divisions will compete for 2026 Ohio High School State Baseball titles in Akron/Cnton this coming weekend…13 of them will be private schools.

In D III all four semifinal teams are private schools…guaranteeing at least one private school champion. All 7 divisions have at least one private school in the Final Four.

The subject of private schools in Ohio came up recently in a posting concerning discussions between Ohio Basketball Coaches and the OSHAA’s Doug Ute. Coiuld baseball be in line for separate tournaments in the future?

OHSAA 2026 Baseball State Tournament Pairings

7 17 Credit Union Park in Akron and Thurman Munson Memorial Stadium in Canton set to host

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio High School Athletic Association has announced the pairings and schedule for next week’s baseball state tournament, which will be hosted by 7 17 Credit Union Park in Akron and Thurman Munson Memorial Stadium in Canton.

The 98th annual baseball state tournament begins Thursday morning and will crown seven state champions.

Tickets will be available at www.OHSAA.org/tickets.

All 21 games of the state tournament will be available on the NFHS Network (video subscription) and the OHSAA Radio Network (free audio).
