(8-26-26) Anything is possible in high school football transfers…you won’t believe this one…or maybe you will.

Senior Quarterback Ali Beydoun, a University of Findlay commit, has left Toledo (OH) Central Catholic and has transferred to Dearborn Heights (MI) Crestwood for the 2026 campaign.

Crestwood is slated to open the season on Thursday at Walled Lake Central

How good is Beydoun? The last two seasons he led the Irish to back-to-back D III OHSAA state championships and now will join a Crestwood Chargers team that went 5-4 season in 2025.

Last season Beydoun, had 2,550 all-purpose yards and scored 24 total touchdowns, during the regular season he completed 92-of-152 passes for 1,299 yards and eight touchdowns.

In a Toledo Blade story….Central Catholic coach Greg Dempsey said Beydoun is departing the program because of family relocation. Dempsey said he was told on Monday that one of his parent’s employment is being relocated to Dearborn Heights, Mich.

Against Trotwood-Madison Beydoun was the starter and completed 1 of 6 passes for minus-3 yards.

Michigan returns the favor…. 6-foot-3, 215 pound sophomore quarterback Lincoln Sellers, took over for Bedouin in the season opening 27-7 win over Trotwood-Madison last Friday.

Last season Sellers, as a freshman was the starter at Belleville (Mich.).
