DELPHOS (9-15-26) — The football coach, dean of students and athletic director at a Delphos school stepped away from his duties with the school after an incident left him in the Van Wert County jail.

Todd Schulte (52) who serves as the Delphos St. John’s football coach, junior high/middle school dean of students and athletic director, was booked into the Van Wert County Jail on Tuesday on domestic violence charges, according to the Van Wert County Sheriff’s Office. This is Schulte’s 28th year as the Blue Jays’ football coach.

According to a letter from the school sent to families-

Aaron Dubow will serve as interim athletic director, Dan Metzger as interim head football coach and Adam Lee as interim dean of students.
