(10-1-26) The Mississinawa Valley School District announced that head football coach Lane Manning is stepping down from the position despite no evidence of bullying being found in the district’s recent investigation.
The investigation included interviews and a review of available information.
Superintendent Jeffrey A. Winchester in a statement to 2 NEWS-
“Based on the findings of the investigation, the allegations of bullying were not substantiated. As a result, no disciplinary action has been taken.
Despite the District not substantiating the claims of bullying and not issuing any discipline, our coach has decided to step down.”

The Blackhawks are 0-6 this season, they are scheduled to play Preble Shawnee at home on Friday night.
