Brooklyn (Ohio) lost last Friday (12-2-16) night to Open Door Christian 52-38, but for one ‘special’ player, Isaiah Upshaw (Senior), it was a night to remember. Upshaw, who has autism, hit a three-pointer in his first game for the Hurricanes. The celebration after the shot is what made this moment one to remember and shows us again what high school sports should be all about.
Matt Harry, his Hurricane teammate and friend shared that special moment:
This is my best friend Isaiah. He has autism, made the team for the first time, and in his first game this happened pic.twitter.com/vxgue8Rj1a
