Only one change in the Top 5, Homestead (Ind) drops to 17th from #5 after a loss to Carmel in OT. Both schools are ranked #2 and #3 in Indiana in 4A, Indiana’s #1 team, North Central, checks into the rankings for the first time this week at #10.
Edwardsville (Illinois) is new to the rankings this week, they move up to #14 with a 16-0 record.

Top-ranked Hopkins dominated the first half, then held off Park Center on the way to a 60-47 win over the tenth-ranked Pirates in girls basketball. The teams met in the state quarterfinals last season.
