Homestead, with a very impressive tournament run, picked up the Indiana 4A State title beating Indianapolis Pike 61-54. Florida-bound Karissa McLaughlin scored 29 points to lead the Spartans to the win.

In Illinois, Byron ran the table for the 2nd straight year and picked up another 2A state title beating Bloomington Central Catholic 55-32 behind Paige Holloway’s 22 points, 1st team All-Stater Lexi DeVries had 10 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals.

In Nevada, Centennial won its third straight Nevada 4A state title with a 97-52 win over Bishop Manogue . Justice Ethridge led Centennial with 24 points, including an championship game record six 3-pointers.

In Arizona, Mesquite beat Phoenix Sierra Linda (Phoenix) 59-38 in the 5A championship game. Junior guard Shaylee Gonzales had 21 points. It’s the first state title for the school in girls basketball.
