(4-9-17) This week’s SSN National Softball Player of the Week is Burleson’s (Tx) Zoe Miranda.

Miranda hit a fourth inning grand slam in a 9-7 8-inning upset win over previously undefeated Centennial, the win was the first for the Elks over the Spartans since March of 2013. On the day Miranda was 4-5, 6 RBIs and she also had a double.

Earlier in the week (4-4-17)  in a 3-2 9-inning win over Joshua, the Senior (3B-P) went 4-5 with a double and a RBI.

On the season Miranda is hitting .569, with 4 HR’s, 13 2Bs and 28 RBIs.

Miranda will continue her softball career next season at Navarro College.
