(4-10-17) Five teams dropped out of the SSN National Public HS Rankings this week, but the #1 team remained the same.
Darien hangs on to the #1 ranking after a 17-9 win over Niskayuna. It was a big night for Blue Wave Head Coach Jeff Brameier who picked up his 552nd career coaching win. With the win Brameier became the all-time career wins leader in Connecticut history and 7th in the US.
#2 Torrey Pines, who is on the road in Colorado this week, lost to Ramon Valley 8-7 in overtime and drops down to #5.
Four schools enter this week’s rankings, Severna Park at #6, Mauldin at #7, Columbine at #8 and Weddington at #10.
Dropping out of the rankings this week is Upper Arlington, Cherry Creek, Hamilton Southeastern, Henry Clay and Smithtown East.
