(4-13-17) – At the March meeting of  the Celina City School Board Meeting the resignations of Football Head Trent Temple was approved,  along with the resignations of Varsity Assistant Coaches, Bret Baucher, Tyler Foulkes, Brennan Bader and Steve Bader. Also approved in March were contracts for two former volunteers, both were given 1/2 time contracts as Varsity Assistants, Scott Miller and Jeff Stein.

This Monday night (4-17-17) at the April Board member, Brennen Bader, is on the agenda to be approved as the new Head Coach replacing Temple. Bader’s contract will be for one year, with 6 years of experience credit.

In his letter of resignation as an Assistant Coach in March, Bader wrote:

Unfortunately in the past couple of years, the climate of the high school program has changed and under the current leadership, I feel that I cannot coach effectively.

Bader (32), who is not new to Bulldog football program, has served as an assistant coach under the last two coaches,  Jared Rolfes (presently the Head Coach at Northwest Guilford (NC)), as well Trent Temple, who stepped down in March.  Bader is currently on the staff at the Celina Middle School.

No other action is listed on the agenda for adding additional assistant coaches.
