Celina LHP pitcher Seth Lonsway (Sr) has been named the WBL Player of the Year. Lonsway has committed to play at Ohio State, but will be a target in the upcoming MLB draft.
Celina Head Baseball Coach Andy Mikesell:
Seth Lonsway is a rare combination of talent and work-ethic. I have never seen someone dedicate themselves to a sport like he has to baseball and making himself as good as he can be.
In my mind he is now the best pitcher in the state and right there with the best in the country.
He his definitely a rare athlete but most importantly a rare person. He has gone through so much in his short life and has always maintained an exceptional personal standard and humility. He is always willing to help out with younger players, field maintenance or just any odd job I have for baseball or personally; he has always been there to help whoever needed it.
Wapakoneta Head Coach Jason Brandt was named as WBL Coach of the Year.

Other Bulldogs named to the All-WBL team, Kole Murlin (Jr) was named to the second team, Isaiah Eichler (Sr) and Parker Maurer (Soph) were named to the third team. Shawn Rose (Sr) was named Honorable Mention.

Wapakoneta picked up the WBL Conference Championship going 8-1 on the season.
