Toros QB Brandon Nuñoz ran for 57 yards on 18 carries with a touchdown. He was also on the receiving end of a nine-yard pass.
Toros Coach Mike Fell told azcentral.com after the game:
“Quarterbacks sometimes get too much of the credit and too much of the blame at the same time. He’s like a quiet leader, and I think he did a great job of managing it and getting guys lined up and that kind of thing. Everything else will get better.”
