(9-30-17) -The University of Findlay (4-1) played in their first ever Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) game and marked the special day picking up the win in Canton beating Walsh University (0-5) 47-3.
For Marion Local grad Adam Bertke it was his first start as the QB at Findlay since he transferred from Pittsburgh. Bertke took advantage of his opportunity throwing three TD passes. Bertke was playing in place of the injured starter Rhys Gervais.

On the other sideline for Walsh was first year Head Coach Ryan Pifer, who is a Celina Grad. Pifer left a successful program at D III Olivet College to take over control of the Cavaliers last spring.
