(10-10-17) The 16th year of Flyin To The Hoop high school basketball showcase will take place on Martin Luther King Jr. weekend (January 12-15) of 2018.
The tournament will highlight 75+ projected Division I recruits as well as the top players and teams from the Dayton area and around the nation will be a part of this year’s schedule.
Three national highlight games will feature this year’s tournament Findlay Prep (NV) taking on West Virginia powerhouse Huntington Prep, IMG Acadmey (Fla) taking on Prolific Prep (Calif) and La Lumiere Ind) will play Aspire Academy.
Other out-of-state teams include, Orlando Christian Prep (Fla), McEachern (Ga), Mountain Mission (Va), Covington Catholic (Ky) andProlific Prep (Calif).
From the area, two MAC schools will be a part of the event, powerhouse Sidney will take on Versailles (MAC) on Sunday, while on Monday Franklin Monroe will play Minster (MAC).
