GIRLS

The ‘Wonder Women’ of Minster picked up the 2017 MAC Title, which was not a surprise to anyone. The Wildcats were one finisher away from a being a ‘perfect 15‘, as they finished with their Top 7 runners in the Top 9, while the three next runners (8, 9 and 10) finished 11, 13 and 16. How impressive is that, had those 2nd five run as a separate team they would have been 2nd in the meet with 56 points, 27 points ahead of Coldwater. That’s impressive.

Minster’s Emma Watcke continues to be the ‘leader of the pack‘ with another 1st place finish in a time of 18:48..78, also in the Top 10, Kaitlynn Albers (2nd), Mackenzie Bohman (3rd), Gwendolyn Meiring (4th) and Cassie Francis (6th).

Breaking up the Wildcats perfect score was Marion Local’s Kelsey Broering who finished 5th. Other Top 10 finishes were Ft. Recovery’s Chloe Will in 8th and St. Henry’s Ashley Bruns in 10th.
