(10-14-17) St. Henry finished 12 in OHSAA D II Girls Golf State Championships after Saturday’s final round shooting a 761 (380, 381) as a team, Independence won the D II State title shooting a 652. Other teams from the Stateline area saw LCC in 3rd (667) and MAC member Versailles (363) in 10th.
St. Marys’ Jill Schmitmeyer shot a 1-under 69 and finish the tournament with a 142 (73-69) total good for 2nd place, just 3-shots behind the State Medalist Eaton’s Sarah Willis who shot a 3-under 67 on Saturday and 139 (72-67) for the two days.
Ellen Naumann had an 88 and Karlee Staugler a 89 on Saturday to lead St. Henry.
