(11-17-17) What a way to end a season, the Kimberly Papermakers won their 70th consecutive game and 5th straight WIAA State Championship beating previously undefeated Sun Prairie (13-1) 27-7 .
The Papermakers are assured of having the longest winning streak in America starting the 2018 season in August.
Kimberly has won a total of seven state titles dating back to their first in 2007, three have been in D2 and the last four in DI (D2-2007 D2-2008 D2-2013 D1-2014 D1-2015 D1-2016 and DI-2017).

Bishop Guilfoyle celebrated its 59th consecutive win over Juanita Hill by scoring 59 points in the 59-13 win. The win moves the Marauders to the next round in the PIAA State playoffs.
With the win the Marauders are now tied for the second longest consecutive winning streak in the US with Alaska’s Soldotna, who finished their season in October with another State title. A win next week will give them sole possesion of the #2 spot with 60 wins.

In Oklahoma, Blanchard scored 16 unanswered points in the fourth quarter, including a returned interception for a touchdown late in the quarter to knock off the back-to-back-to-back 4A state champs Wagoner in a quarterfinal playoff game 23-14 and snap the Bulldogs 48-game winning streak, the longest in Oklahoma 11-man high school history.
