Mercer County’s Seygan Robins Great Pass

(12-11-17) Riverdale starts of the 2017-18 regular season SSN Public HS Girls Basketball Rankings in the #1 spot, the same spot they ended at last season.

Riverdale is 8-0, including a win over pre-season #2 Mercer County 77-60.  With the loss Mercer County drops down to #7.

Making the biggest move of the week is Carmel, the Greyhounds were left out of the SSN preseason rankings, they move all the way up to #3 thanks a 13-0 start to the season.

The new #2 is Northwest Guilford, the defending North Carolina state champions who started the season 6-0.

In total four schools joined the Top 10, including Carmel, Hoover, Appleton North and Edwardsville.

The four schools dropping out are Collins Hill, Iowa City West, Baldwin and Kentridge who started the season out with one loss.
