The Streak Ends…
(12-15-17) The North Central Jets boys basketball 84 game winning streak ended (12-7-17) when they lost to Rapid River 65-43 . During that stretch they won three Class D championships, which is the longest in Michigan prep basketball history, boys or girls. Passaic High (N.J.) holds the national all-time streak at 159 from 1919-1925.

New streak starts…
On Thursday night the Jets started a new winning streak at home beating Carney-Nadeau 71-49. North Central was led by sophomore Noah Gorzinski’s 19 points and senior Lucas Dombrowski added 16.
