(1-27-18) It is officially called the Coldwater Swim Invitational, but it is also known as the Midwest Athletic Conference Invitational, plus it was held at the Jay County High School in Portland. Since swimming is not a sanctioned conference sport it gives the MAC swimmers a chance to compete for a title.
A great swim facility at Jay County HS. Thanks to Matt Slavik & Jay County for allowing us to use it. @matt_slavik pic.twitter.com/1jJWzsy32V

Ft. Recovery Head Coach Mindy Bubp:
I am very happy for the girls swim team after their performances yesterday! The girls were confident in themselves and our team but nervous since it was our first time being in contention to come out on top! We knew going in New Bremen would be very strong in the sprints and 1st 2 relays, and Minster has great distance freestylers and a strong 400 Relay. Throw in Freshman Macy May from Coldwater into the mix and we knew we had to be at our best! The older girls really stepped up with best times, breaking 3 HS records and taking 1st in their events! The whole team really came together and we had a great fan base there from the community cheering us on! It was a well run meet with great competition! Hoping someday in the near future we can officially call it the MAC meet!
Coldwater’s Macy May won the 200 yard freestyle (2:04.7).
