(1-31-18) – It was the opening night of ‘Hoosier Hysteria’ in Indiana girls basketball with opening round sectional games.

It was record breaking night, in Class A, the smallest class in Indiana.  Indianapolis Tindley beat Lighthouse South 107-6. With the win Tindley is 21-3 and Lighthouse South (0-20) has not won a game.

Tindley is averaging 85 points a game this season, while it has been a struggle for Lighthouse South to put points on the board this season.

The margin of victory is the second highest in girls tournament action according to Indiana high school basketball expert John Harrell. The biggest margin  happened in 1998 when Center Grove beat Indianapolis Manual 110-28. Both blow-outs happened in the Indianapolis area.
