(2-19-18) This year’s All Mercer County Player of the Year is Ft. Recovery’s Grace Thien. When you look up 3 point field goals in the Ft. Recovery record book you will find Grace Thien at the top of the list, single-season record and the all-time record. The Indian Senior has over 67 3’s as the regular season ended and 170 for her career. Thien was the 3rd leading scorer in the county and shot 41% behind the arc.

Coldwater has three members on the All County team, Kourtney Diller, Maura Hoying and Lauren Gilliland. The three were key parts in leading the Cavs to a 14 ame winning streak to end the year.  All three could fill-out a score sheet in any given game. Diller led the county in scoring with a 13.7 average, Hoying led the county in assists, 2nd in steals and Gilliland led the county in rebounding.
