
(3-2-18) The St. Henry Redskins boys bowling team picked up a 3rd place finish at today’s D II Boys State Bowling Championships at Wayne Webb’s Columbus Bowl.
The Redskins advanced to the final round in 1st place with a combined regulation/Baker score of 3,392, 34 pins ahead of Graham.
St. Marys just missed the championship round finishing 9th with a 3,135 score, just losing out to Eastwood for the final spot by 21 pins.

In the championship round the Redskins (166, 170, 148, 171) beat Eastwood (159, 156, 227, 147) 3-1 to advance to the semifinals. In the semifinals St. Henry (186, 143,194,162) lost to #5 seed Mechanicsburg (166,191, 213,254) 3-1.

Top individual from the Stateline area was Coldwater’s Caden Seitz (Sr) who had a 590 series (203, 195, 192).
Leading St. Henry were Jordan Thomas (Soph) at 17th with a 586 series (140, 227, 219). Trey Buehler (Sr) (140, 224, 217) and Logan Rindler (Sr) (178, 209, 194), who tied for 19th place with a 581 series.
