(3-5-18) – Week 13 was bad luck for some schools and that led to lots of changes this week in the SSN National Public HS Boys Basketball Rankings.
For the third week in a row South Bend Riley holds down the #1 spot, the Wildcats picked up a Sectional Championship during the week and move on to the regionals.

Remaining at #2 is Upson-Lee who picked up a close call win 52-51 over Sandy Creek, their 62nd consecutive win. The Knights will now play for a Georgia 4A State title against St. Pius.
#3 this week is Clarkston, the Wolves continue to win and have their eyes set on another Michigan State Championship.
Shadow Mountain, who won an Arizona state title last week, drops one spot to #4.

Olympus picked up the Utah Class 5A state championship and finished the season undefeated 27-0 and moves up one spot to #5.

Making a return visit to the SSN Top 10 at #6 is the Illinois 4A #1 ranked Simeon Wolverines, they have not lost to an in state school this season. Their three losses were to highly regarded schools on the national scene (Memphis East (70-60), McEachern (56-54) Montverde Academy (62-60)), two of those losses were by just two points.
Rayville and Northside continue to win and both move up two spots to #7 and #8. Northside with two wins this week picked up its 59th consecutive win and a second straight trip to the state basketball final in 3A
Warren Central, although remaining undefeated, had two close call wins (North Central 65-60, Lawrence Central 47-42) and drops one spot to #9.
Entering the Top 10 this week for the first time this year and representing Kentucky is Scott County. The Cardinals only loss this season came at the Myrtle Beach Classic to Cincinnati Moeller in late December 60-41.
Suffering losses and dropping out of the Top 10 this week is Plymouth Whitemarsh, who lost their first game of the season and Denton Guyer who loss their 2nd of the year.
