(4-21-18) One of the best kept secrets in Auglaize County has to be the Waynesfield-Goshen boys track team. The Tigers put together some ‘home-cooking’ winning their own Tiger Invitational last night beating Carey 129.5-110.
The ‘James Boys’ provided the fire power, winning six events on the night. Brandon James won the 110 meter hurdles, 300 meter hurdles and the triple jump. Gabriel James won the 100 and the 200 meter dashes and the long jump.
Add to that Tyler Eller won the 400 meter dash and Brock Waitman won the discus. Making for an eight win night for the Tigers in a 12 team meet.

Parkway’s Matt Gaerke took home two first place finishes winning the 1,600 and 3,200 meter runs, the Panthers finished fourth with 78.5 points,
Syndey Crouch continues to impress in the long jump taking first 1st place with a jump of 16′ 1.75, she also was a part of the Panthers winning 4×400 meter relay team, along with Rachel Barrett, Ansley Burtch andTreya Conn.
