(5-19-18) When you think of softball in Mercer County you most think of Parkway and most recently Haley Hawk. Hawk is this year’s SSN All Mercer County MVP, leaving a long-lasting mark in Panther history.
Hawk has received numerous honors over her career, including the three-time Midwest Athletic Conference Player of the Year. Hawk is one of only two players in Ohio high school softball history to have over 200 RBIs and is the Mercer County Home Run all-time leader with 40 (with more tournament games in the future). She is also a four time All MAC 1st team player.
Hawk has been dominate at the plate and in the circle and has been a key to the Panthers success over the past four season.
Hawk will continue her softball career at Muskingum University where she will be enrolled in the nursing program.
