
(6-2-18) Today at the OHSAA Track and Field State Finals, two Celina athletes made it to the podium and one from Coldwater.

In the D II Meet the Bulldog’s Lauren Jackson had the best finish of the day with a 4th place finish. Jackson had a season to remember including, WBL, Distict and Regional titles.


Coldwater’s Thomas Schwieterman made the podium in the discus finishing 8th with a throw of 149′ 1. Schwieterman finished 4th at the Regional, 3rd in District and 2nd at MAC meet.
Coldwater’s Katie Alig (Soph) was two spots away from the podium in the D II long jump with a 10th place finish.


Celina’s Tyler Ross ends his career on the D I discus podium, as the Bulldog boys compete in a different division as the girls do (D II). Ross ended up 7th with a throw of 167′ 10. Last week Ross, broke the school record that was set 28 years ago at the Regional meet.

Ross won championships at the WBL and District meets and placed 4th at the Regional.
