(7-11-18) The St. Marys Board of Education at tonight’s meeting voted to hire St. Marys alum Adam Graves as the Roughriders new Varsity baseball coach.

Graves is quite familiar with the Roughrider program, he has been an assistant coach since 2016, JV coach in 2015 and also handled the first base coach box the past three seasons.

Graves replaces Jeff Dieringer, another St. Marys grad,  who had a 62-51 overall record and was 26-19 in the WBL, including a share of a league title in 2015 that the Roughriders shared with Celina.

Did you know….

  • Graves teaches sixth and seventh-grade social studies at St. Marys
  • Graves was named 2001 WBL Baseball Co-Player of the Year
