(8-11-18) The Ft. Recovery Booster Club is putting a plan in motion to raise funds to build a new baseball/softball complex that would be ready to in 2020. August 21st at the K of C Hall at 7:30pm and information and Fundraiser Kick-Off is planned.
The group hopes to raise $700,000 and once half of those funds are raised the project will start.
The project will include:
- concessions
- restroom
- press box
- improvements to the softball diamond
- batting cage
- pitching training center
This will take place east of the Ft. Recovery Elementary-Middle School.
The Indians baseball team won a share of the MAC title this spring for the first time in school history, so it has been a help in getting the attention of the need for this complex in the community.
