(10-29-18) The final AP Ohio High School Football Polls were released today.

It was a tough week for two Stateline area teams that were ranked #1 the week before. D VI Marion Local had its state-leading consecutive game winning streak stopped in a 2 OT loss to Coldwater, while in D IV St. Marys lost to WBL rival Wapakoneta (9-1) on a late 4th quarter field goal.

D VI has been controlled all season long by MAC members Coldwater (8-2) and Marion Local (9-1), both had been in the #1 spot during the season, and St. Marys had controlled their top spot as well.

Kirtland, who knows the MAC very well, slipped in to win the final D VI Poll title with a 10-0 record and 18 1st place votes. Coldwater moved into 2nd place with one 1st place vote and Marion Local is 3rd and had six 1st place votes. St. Henry (8-2) moved up to #6. All three MAC teams are in Region 24 in the upcoming playoffs, only one will survive.

In D VII, Minster (7-3) is 8th and had three 1st place votes.

In D IV , St. Marys (9-1) dropped four spots to #5, in D III Wapakoneta with their win over the Roughriders is #6 and picked up a 1st place vote, in D V MAC co-Champion Anna is #7 and one 1st place vote.
